Brian Temba

The UK Music scene has been short of a truly great soul voice for a considerable while. Brian Temba, star of the West End Musical The Lion King as he plays Simba, possesses the voice that will bring hope to those who would truly appreciate a real soul singer. Brians voice portrays a depth of realness, and passion that captures the authentic sound of Soul Music.

Brian started his singing career in his native homeland of South Africa, where he sang for the likes of Jonathan Butler and Hugh Masakela. In 1999 Brian also was given the opportunity to perform as a solo artist for Nelson Mandelas 80th birthday celebration.

In 2000, Brian was part of the original cast for Disneys The Lion King at the Pantages Theatre on the LA Broadway. The success of his performances led to Disney promoting him to the role of Simba in Londons West End. Brian is currently still performing the role of Simba to packed audiences six nights a week at the Lyceum Theatre.

Brian has always had a desire to record and release his own solo material. This dream became a reality when he met Top UK Producer Steve Antony as he offered to produce Brians debut solo album; which is now near completion.

The first promo release was Treat Her Right which has received good reviews and great radio support throughout the UK.

Brian Temba will be the name to look out for and the voice that will re-define the UKs Music scene.
